Room 502/4/6, Tuesday evening

Nadia was stretched out on her bed, flipping through her dream journal. In theory, she was looking for connections between some of the different parts of her dreams. In reality, she was mostly staring vaguely at the pages . . . and, okay, occasionally flipping back to giggle at the drawing of Pip fleeing the morality bot.

It was better than thinking about some of the things that had happened the last time she was in Fandom over the month of March. Nadia wasn't a big fan of her birthday, but she did have a tendency to remember other anniversaries. The bad ones, at the very least.

Furrball was playing with a pair of rather rusted rollerskates, which mostly involved him stepping on them, and going careening around the room, mewling frantically.

Pippi walked into the room and lept out of the way of Nadia's fun.

Furrball smacked straight into the wall with a faint spaltting noise.

"I wonder what would happen if I drew a little door for him on the wall," Nadia mused.

"You think mebbe he could go through it... Like Beep Beep Birdy?"

Nadia watched as Furrball *popped* himself back into three dimensionality. "Either that, or his toy mouse would go through and he'd run smack into the wall."

"... I'll get out my paints."

Nadia laughed. "Sounds good."

Pippi rooted around in the closet and came out with a box of paints and brunches.

"I was just thinking that the walls seemed a little empty."

"I don't usually pay that much attention to them." Nadia sat up, putting her journal to one side. "Put it on a wall facing the hallway? Because I don't really want to find out if my cat can survive a five story drop?"

"You know? I have no idea."

Pippi began panting a kitty door with gilded edges and a little blue outline of a cat above it.

"I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been a class on this sort of thing."

"Maybe they'll have one next semester."

"I wonder what the teacher would be like."
