And that just reminds me of how I was rereading The Swiss Family Robinson last week and WTFing over how there were penguins, ostriches, flamingoes, bears, lions, and pretty much freaking everything but elephants on that damn island.

And they shot and killed one of everything.

I do remember that they didn't like the way the penguin tasted, though.
