room 502/4/6, Monday afternoon

After her class, Nadia had wandered around for a bit before getting back to the room. Bad enough she'd fallen asleep in three classes now. This time she had had a delightful freak out as soon as she'd woken up. Yes, Aziraphale had been very understanding about it all and given her tea and wanted just to make sure she was okay, but that had only made it embarassing on top of being very worrying.

This weekend had been supposed to fix all this. Instead, she couldn't help but wonder if it was getting worse.

She scooped Furrball up and plopped herself down on the bed to cuddle her cat and try to remember the dream.

She had to do something about all this. She just wasn't certain what.

Pippi came in thinking about getting some lunch.

"Hey Nadia."

"Hey, Pippi," Nadia said, even as Furrball wrapped his front paws around her hand and started gnawing on her sleeve.

Pippi flopped down on her bed and started fiddling with her stuffed lobsters.

"Hungry?"

Nadia shrugged and tried to disentangle herself from Furrball's grip. It didn't work. "I dunno."

"You don't know if you're hungry?"

[nadiathesaint]

Nadia lifted her hand up off the bed. The entirety of Furrball came with it, and he continued to gnaw away happily.

"Um, no?"

"Aside from your cat's flesh eating tendencies."

[nadiathesaint]

"He's eating the sleeve. That's fabric, not flesh. Also, cats eat meat." Nadia put her arm back down. Furrball seemed to be enjoying himself, and it didn't hurt, so she figured she'd let him.

"Okay, you don't want to talk about lunch."

Nadia felt that she was rapidly losing track of this conversation. "Um, sorry,"

Pippi shrugged back.

"No big deal."

"Okay." Furrball spotted a bug on the other side of the room and launched himself off to go chase it with an excited "mew!" "What's up, Pippi?"

After his own class, Alphonse returned to the room in a fairly good mood. "Hey."

"Hi, Al. What's going on?"

"Not much, class just ended for me," Alphonse replied. "So I've got the rest of the day to do nothing."

"You do that a lot. I would even go so far as to say that you are a master of it."

"I don't do it that often."

[nadiathesaint]

"Okay. But, still, it's a skill."

"You don't seem to be doing much, yourself," Alphonse pointed out.

"I have an excuse."

"Oh, not feeling well?"

[nadiathesaint]

"I feel fine. At least until I randomly fall asleep somewhere and embarrass the hell out of myself."

Alphonse regarded her curiously. "Fall asleep? From what?"

Nadia sighed. "Exactly. No one knows."
