A dream while hunting for Bel

At first it was just a roar of sight, sound, and emotion: dread, fear, panic, a trupmeting, a cackling, the sound of someone crying. The world jerked and blurred down around her, snapping into place with a jolt that left her dizzy.
Jake stood before her, turning rapidly in a circle, getting more and more desperate as he did.
"No," he muttered. "No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"Darth Vader cleared his throat and held out a hand expectantly. Nadia tried to move forward to see what was wrong, but the room jerked and blurred and snapped again, and this time she was in a strange, dark metal room. A decrepit white hand reached from a deep black robe, shooting lightning across at someone just behind and to the right of Nadia. She turned to watch Luke fall, twitching and screaming, to the ground as electricity crackled around him.
Jerk, blur, snap, and she's back to Jake. His hands are shaking. He holds an empty mug.
Jerk, blur, snap, and there's Luke, twitching and screaming.
Jerk, blur, snap, scream. Jerk, blur, snap, scream. Jerk, blur, snap, stamp, trumpet.
Wait, what?
There's an elephant.
And Mel.
And . . . babies. . . .
"Oh come on," Nadia protested. "That doesn't even begin to make sense!"
