Room 507, Saturday night
Jan. 29th, 2006 12:44 amIt took Nadia waaaaaay too long to get up the stairs to her room. Her shoulder was a dull ache thanks to the happy white pills, but she was exhausted and still feeling much too cold, and she barely made it to her bed before flopping over.
She thought briefly of Furball, who still hadn't come back, and hauled herself back up to set out food by the door and the ventilation in probably vain hopes that he would smell it and come a-runnin' back.
Then she flopped over again.
Soon enough, she was snoring away.
