Room 507, Tuesday evening

Nadia had her orchids placed in a prominent position near the window . . . and hopefully not in a spot where Furrball was likely to knock them over. She was just a touch dressed up and had her laptop open on her desk to a particularly . . . interesting spot in her adventure story.

Just, you know, in case.

Now all she needed was the boyfriend.

Walter knocked on her door and announced himself before trying the knob. "It's Walter."

Nadia hurried over to open the door. "Hey. Furrball is already wandering around."

Walter smiled appreciatively. "I didn't know adventure story writers were so pretty."

But he should probably get out of the open door so he could appreciate that better. Yes.

Nadia grinned back and stepped away to give him room to enter. "Flatterer. It's only fair, I'm continually surprised by how good butlers can look."

"I'd say it's all in the tailoring, but I'd be lying," Walter said immodestly and leaned in to brush a kiss on her cheek on his way in.

"Yes," Nadia said, stepping behind him a bit to get a quick view. "But the tailoring doesn't hurt."

Walter caught the look and grinned, giving her a little longer to look before turning around. "So...."

Nadia grinned up at him, stepping closer. "So."

"Where should we start?" She reached up to fiddle with his tie.

"I'm still partial to kissing," Walter suggested, leaning down to do just that.

Nadia kissed back thoroughly and tried to pull his tie off at the same time.

The mmmm, lips, was a little distracting, though.

Walter enjoyed the distraction, but had more practice, so he reached up to pull the knot out of his tie. Once that was out of the way, though, there were better places to put his hands.

Like hair. Hair was a great place to put one's hand.

Or one of one's hand. And the other somewhere . . . rather further south.

Around Nadia's waist wasn't a bad place, either, as it resulted in bringing them that much closer together.

When he came up for air, he asked, between kisses, "Are you sure. You need. More ideas?"

"Did I say. Need?" Nadia grinned. "Maybe just. Practice."

"You know. How I feel. About practice." He grinned back and rubbed his nose against hers. "Would Mario come in and just start ravishing Elena? Or should he take more time?"

"Well. That depends. Are they being chased by evil monks, or are they merely having a break on the ship of a pirate princess?"

"Having a break, definitely. The ravishing is without question otherwise."

"Well, then," Nadia ran her hand slowly down the side of his neck. "He might just take it a little slow. And there would be time for a bit of . . . creativity."

Walter tilted his head to the side to better appreciate the touch and smiled. "Because Elena deserves nothing less."

"Well, Mario is very good at what he does." Nadia leaned foward to kiss his jaw.

"He's dedicated." He closed his eyes, still smiling, to let Nadia kiss him more.

"But he also wouldn't let Elena do all the work." With that he bent to scoop her up off the floor.

Nadia laughed and held on tighter. "That's good to know."

"Is this dashing hero enough, do you think?" He lifted her higher to make bending to kiss her easier.

Nadia kicked off her shoes and kissed back. "Very dashing. But then, Mario has always been dashing."

What would the dashing hero do next? Ah yes, carry the beautiful woman to the bed.

It's possible that some of Walter's ideas on dashing heroes had been formed from watching black and white movies more than sixty years ago.

Of course the dashing hero had to kiss the beautiful woman once she was on the bed, lips, cheeks, and jaw.
