Room 507, Saturday evening

After going to tease check on Pip and make sure he was doing all right before his date, Nadia headed back to her room.

Where she'd been hiding all day.

So far, she'd remained herself the whole day. She wasn't counting it staying that way, though. Stupid Fandom.

A sudden bang echoed into Nadia's room as something thumped against the inside of the vent.

Nadia jumped with a shriek, then reached for her mallet. "What's in there? If that's a gremlin, I'm warning you, I know your tricks,"

A couple fingers peeked through the vent, trying to manipulate it open.

Nadia backed up sharply and snatched her mallet. "Okay, not a gremlin. You're so getting detention for this . . . whoever you are. . . . Please don't be someone who's possessed."

"Help?" Angelo said, fumbling and unable to open the vent. His voice seemed scared and sad.

Nadia blinked, then tucked her mallet into her belt and went over to the vent. "Are you stuck?" She started tugging on the cover.

When the vent finally opened, Angelo looked at Nadia and half-waved with one hand.

Nadia waved back. "Do I know you?"

Angelo shook his head, and started to climb into Nadia's room.

After a day spent searching and investigating, Fraser's made it up to the fifth floor and has taken to just canvassing the students and asking about the mystery man in the vent.

He makes a stop in front of Nadia's room and knocks lightly on the door.

Nadia popped back up into a standing position and shot Angelo a look that hopefully said "don't touch anything".

"Who is it?"

"Constable Fraser," he answers. "I just need to ask you a brief question, if I may?"

Nadia continued to give Angelo a look, wondering if she should try to protect him. She stood and crossed to the door, cracking it open.

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry to bother you but I was hoping you'd help me," he says. "You haven't by any chance seen or heard from someone, not a student, that may be travelling in the vents?"

"And touching people's stuff and being generally creepy?" Nadia turned to look back at Angelo. "Goes by the name of Angelo? Maybe, what are you going to do with him?"

"I actually haven't met this Angelo as of yet," Fraser says. "And I wasn't going to do anything to him. Are you all right? Is he all right?"

"I'm fine. He's . . ." Nadia opened the door, revealing Angelo huddled in the corner. "I have no idea."

Parker and Bridge showed up, and Parker rapped on Nadia's door. "Nadia?" she whispered. "Can you open the door?"

Nadia was still trying to work out exactly what had happened. "Parker?" She hurried over to open the door. "What's going on?"

"Did a guy come out through the air vent into your room?" Parker asked urgently. "Bridge says he's here."

"He ran out. The mountie went after him. Parker, what is going on?"

"Aww, crap." Parker put her hands over her face. "He keeps *doing* this, and... I'm sorry, Nadia. Angelo's special. He didn't mean any harm, or to scare you, he's just-- very very different, and he hasn't been aroudn people much."

"Different's kind of an understatement, there," Bridge notes, trying to get a sense of where Angelo was headed next.
