Do you know how long it's taken me just to track down an email address for you? It's like you've gone into hiding. And the Nadia I know doesn't hide.

I thought you should know what's happened to us since you and Cesar ran off, like that.

Rico is dead. He's been dead for two months. It wasn't pretty. You were always the one who looked out for him, you know. And he isn't the only one.

We've been dropping like flies. We were your gang, Nadia, you and Cesar, and you LEFT us. Do you understand what that feels like? We followed you. You protected us. But now you're too busy at your fancy little high school, pretending to be like everyone else instead, and no one knows where Cesar is.

So thanks a lot, Nadia. Thanks to you, yesterday I found my sister's body in a dumpster. Thanks for leaving us.
