Room 507, Friday night
Jul. 8th, 2006 02:55 amNadia walked slowly into her room, letting the door fall shut behind her and let out another breath.
Then she turned and punched the door.
ow.
She slid down to the floor, tucking her arms around herself between her chest and her knees, and tucked her head down.
Today had not been her best day, ever.
Of course, waking up with a hangover and getting drunk on the roof probably should have been her first indication.
At least the talent show had gone okay. Everyone had seemed to like the song, and losing herself in playing it had been good, for awhile. Of course, that'd also been where she'd made her plans for the evening.
Even shopping had been okay, if, well, rather awkward. And by the time she and Cally had been getting ready for the party, she'd been pretty sure it would stay that way; awkward, but okay.
Then Cally had kissed her. And she'd managed to muck up that situation royally.
And then there was the crystal ball on the roof.
All she'd wanted was to know that Walter was okay. That's it. Was that that much to ask?
What's wrong, Angel of Death? You don't look so good.
What had happened? What did they do to him?
What wasn't Pippi telling her?
No way to know.
She flexed her hand, and her knuckles protested loudly.
Well, almost no way. She'd promised Pippi she wouldn't hurt herself to try and get a dream. And she hadn't. Not on purpose.
Right?
Ow.
Nadia stayed where she was, curled up on the floor, wondering how she was ever going to get to sleep.
[ooc: weeee linkdrop. Open, should anyone still be up and might have heard the door punching, or not. Whatever.]
