Email about ghostly things

Subject: Ghosts, hauntings, information
I'm emailing you all because I've either spoken to you about the ghost problem, I've heard from someone that you might be haunted, or I've heard from someone that you might be researching or have information. This haunting has to stop. I'm trying to gather together as much information about it as I can, and I think it would be better if we worked together in a more organized way to help.
What we know so far, as far as I know is this: these hauntings are real, and several people on campus are suffering from them. Some others can see them (though I won't say who on either count, because I know that sometimes people want to keep these things secret). This has apparently happened before, and it has been stopped.
The creature causing the hauntings may be something otherworldly, with multiple arms or tentacles, and it may be buried somewhere on the island. There is a potion to banish ghosts, but we need to find the grave of the creature (if it exists) to do it.
I've found alternate information on how to dispell ghosts, which is here.
I have some information regarding a possible spell to bind the creature to the earth, though it's sketchy at best.
I'm hoping to organize some sort of meeting with as many people as possible, to share information and brainstorm a way to stop the ghosts. Tomorrow I will be in the fifth floor common room in the early afternoon. If you can make it, please come find me. Or respond to this email and let us know what you've found. The more information we have, the faster we can put a stop to these ghosts.
As far as I can tell, coming together on these things is what Fandom does best. Please try to help.

She sat back and looked over her email, hoping it would work. With a soft sigh, she hit send.
Then she closed her eyes, put her hand around the cross Walter had given her and her St. Jude medalion and sent up a quick, silent prayer.

Really all I've got is what it's probably not, which is a thing called the First Evil. Whatever's controlling our ghosties seems to act a lot like it, with the trying to drive people to hurt themselves, but the First usually has a bunch of blind, bald priests running around doing its touchy-feely work, and nobody's seen any of them on the island, from what Veronica said.
