Nadia awoke Monday morning, not to her alarm clock, but to a blue cat sitting on her chest, swatting at her nose, and mewing.

It wasn't the worst way she'd been woken up, not by a long shot. But it sure as heck wasn't the best, either.

"Mrrpphhhh," she told the cat.

"Mrpphreow," said the cat.

It was going to be one of those days.

[ooc: so it seems that when I was told to work from 9 to 5:30, it meant that I was going to come in, have no idea what to do for the first half an hour, and have time to bum around online for awhile. This may be a good or bad sign. Either way, feel free to come bug Nadia before class....]

Pippi finished getting ready for class and plodded down 507 to Nadia's room with Mr. Neilson on her shoulder.

She knocked on the door.

"Nadia? Are you asleep?"

Nadia let out another muffled mutter and pushed herself out of bed.

One downside of school? Having to get up in the morning. You know, to something besides a threat of death. Those really tended to get you up and about realllll quick.

"Yeah, I'm up, I'm up . . . ."

[ooc: I have one made, on the computer at home. so it won't be used until, oh, 6ish this evening, but thanks anyway!]

Pippi is in her usual sort of getup except that she's wearing a blue scarf around her neck as well. She fiddles with the end of it as Nadia lets her in.

"Did you get 'em? Can I see?"

Nadia smiles tiredly. "Yeah, right over here." She points to the pile of plastic Toys 'R' Us bags by her door, filled with rubber balls of varying sizes.

Most are small, super ball types, but there are several 3", hollow suckers, and there are three or four 1' diameter playground balls. Nadia picks one of these up.

"One of the guys recommended various sizes. These were the biggest I could find. I thought we could do it just after the last class, when people would be likely to be climbing the stairs."

"Brilliant!" she hops.

"Meet here after 6th period?"

Nadia's smile grew at Pippi's obvious enthusiasm. "Sounds good. Can help me let the others know?"

"I'll definitely be seeing Pip later, and I believe I'll be seeing Molly around as well."

"Cool! I can leave a note for Lily, here, and I'll try calling the others to let them know what's up." She looked over the bags again, tossing and catching the large ball in her hands a few times. "This is going to be so cool."

"I'd say it's downright flash." grins Pippi using her new vocabulary word of the weekend.

Nadia raised an eyebrow. "Flash, huh? Well, alright then."

"Okay, I gotta get running and do some other stuff. I'll catch ya after 6th period then."

[[ooc: What time IRT (in real time) did you want to do this? I'm on Pacific, but I don't work today so I'm pretty free other then needing to go to the store.
