Secluded spot in the woods, Tuesday night [NFB]

Nadia had a small campfire going and was slowly cooking up a stew using the ingredients she'd picked up earlier at the dining hall. She waited patiently for her coconspirators to arrive for planning. She had her guitar ready as well, the amp pointed at some nearby bushes, just in case they decided they needed something to cover their voices.

[ooc: locked to members of Squirrel cabin. may need to be slow played depending on player avail. Fact that the group met out here for stew is broadcastable, discussion is NFB!]

If Paige had actually thought about this she might be a little paranoid, but she hadn't really she just followed the directions in the note.

"Oh hey Nadia," she said happily as she sat down by the campfire, "I guess you had something to do with the notes then?"

"Pippi probably sent them to you, but, yeah. Have a seat." Nadia smiled. "Stew's almost ready."

"Cool, it smeels pretty good, and me not having to cook or eat food from the school's always a good thing." she replied then thought for a moment.

"So is this just a little cabin bonding thing or something more...sinister" she asked quietly.

"Not sinister," Nadia said, using Paige's tone. "Just clandestine. We're plotting mischief. You don't have to help if you don't want to, though."

There's a rustling of leaves and Pippi drops out of a tree into the clearing, she's followed shortly by Mr. Neilson.

"I don't think I was followed." she whispers.

Of course, as she says this, Old Man wanders into the clearing and starts munching on foliage.

Nadia grinned. "Excellent. I see you've spread the word to A side. I let the rest of B side know during our workshop."

Pippi plunked down by the fire and drummed the tips of her fingers against eachother.

"Eeeeexelent."

"I haven't missed anything, have I?"

"Nope." Nadia grinned at Walter. "We're just waiting for everyone to arrive. The stew is almost ready, though." Nadia stirred the pot in question a few times, nodding. "I haven't even added any hot sauce yet, just in case someone doesn't like it."

"Thanks. I'll try it without the hot sauce first." Food was food, after all.

"I stopped in at Weasley's. I didn't have long, so I just picked up some marshmallow's."

Gwynn showed up at the meeting place and smiled.

"Am I late?"

Nadia grinned back. "Not at all! Just in time for stew!"

"Stew cooked in the woods? Ooooooh."

Paige waved, "nope I'm pretty sure we're still waiting on a few people."

"Oh, that's a relief."

Gwynn smiled at Pippi and nodded. "I'm glad."

"Hi, Gwynn." Walter gave her a friendly wave. "It's good to see you could join us."

Seras had spent the morning perusing her First Aid supplies, and the texts she'd bought on alchemy and scrapbooking.

As the sun started to set, she remembered that there was a Very Secret and Important Meeting she needed to attend.

She made her way to the handwavy clearing. The smell of something good cooking lured her along.

"Ah! Eating! That's what I forgot to do today," she said as she stepped into the clearing. She saw that almost everyone was assembled.

"Hey, Seras!" Nadia greeted, serving up another bowl of stew. "Have some. And if you want hot sauce, I've got that, too."

Seras accepted both the bowl and the hot sauce, dousing her stew liberally with the latter.

Once pretty much everyone had arrived and stew had been served, Nadia figured it was time to get started. She pulled off her brace and rolled her wrist a little to test it, then started playing a soft tango on the guitar.

"Just in case any shrubs are listening," she explained. "Okay, does everyone know why we're here?"
